From the kitchen of Ann Marie Barkwell.  A cake mix
turns tropical with a frosting made of cream cheese,
pudding & Cool Whip.  Then it's topped with crushed
pineapple and nuts (optional).
Bake a white or yellow cake mix according to
directions in a 16x12x1 pan.  Bake & cool.

Beat until creamy:
8 oz cream cheese

In a separate bowl:
1 (1.5 oz package) vanilla pudding
1 c milk
Beat with a wire whisk until combined.
Add to cream cheese.

Fold in:
1 (12 oz) Cool Whip
Spread on cooled cake.

Top with:
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

Optional:
walnuts, chopped
Keep refrigerated.
