In bread machine: In pyrex measuring cup:
3 c flour 1/2 c milk
2 1/4 tsp yeast 1/2 c water
1/4 c sugar 2 Tbsp butter
3/4 tsp salt Microwave for 35 sec
Add: 1 egg
Add to bread machine.
Use dough cycle. Punch down dough.
On floured surface, roll dough into a 12 x 9 rectangle.
Brush 2 Tbsp melted BUTTER over it.
Sprinkle with CINNAMON SUGAR
(3/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 c + 2 Tbsp sugar*).
* use brown sugar for gooey center
Optional: sprinkle with RAISINS &/or NUTS.
Roll to make a 12 inch log.
Use dental floss to cut into 12 slices.
Grease a 13 x 9 pyrex pan with crisco.
Raise 25 min.
Bake @ 375 for 18-20 min or until golden.
Cool completely.
Frosting: 2 c confectioner sugar
3 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Add MILK until spreading consistency.
Should be THICK, this is frosting, not icing.

From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser. Use of a
bread machine makes these a snap to put together. I
think they're wonderful fresh, but they don't freeze well.
If the rolls aren't gone by the following day, micro 10-20
seconds before eating for fresh from the oven taste.
UPDATE: I've changed the filling sugar from granulated
sugar, to brown sugar.
Slicing the rolls with dental floss. This prevents flattened rolls.
