From the kitchen of AnnMarie Barkwell.
Simple, classic apple pie. I like Cortlands &
Macs, but any almost any apple will do.
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash of salt
6 c apples, thinly sliced (I add enough apples
to make it mound- Steph)
Combine. Place in a pastry lined pan.
Dot with butter.
Cover with pastry or crumb topping.
Bake @ 425, 40-50 minutes.
