Ranger Cookies
From the kitchen of Ann Marie Barkwell.  These have a bit of
everything in them... oatmeal, crushed corn flakes, coconut, an
assortment of chips... They're versatile, so experiment with
your favorite flavors.
Mix:
1/2 c crisco
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Add:
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 c oats
2 c Total cereal, crushed (measure then crush)
1 c coconut

Add:
chocolate chips

Roll into balls.
Place on ungreased sheet.
Bake @ 375, 10-12 minutes or until set.
Notes:
I like these with toffee bits, butterscotch chips &
chocolate chips- a bit of each in the same
batch that is.  I've used bran flakes instead of
cornflakes with good results.  If using Splenda
instead of sugar, increase b.p. to 1Tbsp.
