Easy. Cake mix, food coloring & sprinkles make this

Make a white cake according to directions.
Divide the batter into 3 bowls.
Add red food coloring to one.
Add blue food coloring to another.
Leave the 3rd bowl alone.
Place cupcake papers into tins.
Put a spoonful of red into each one.
Then white.
Then blue.
Bake as directed.
Frost.
Top with patriotic sprinkles.
Add toothpick flags if you have them.
